Celebration With An Altitude

It's MW's birthday today and we celebrated it at the 70th floor of Swissotel The Stamford, The Equinox Restaurant. We brought ZY along but left DY with my mummy as we wanted to fully enjoy ourselves with the wide spread of delicacies! ^_^

The View!!

The Spread!

Slow Poached Sakura Chicken
Raisin-Caper Emulsion and Sweet Potato Mousel

The Specialties of the Day "Pan-fried Foie Gras de Canard" prepared hot from the kitchen.
It's so creamy that it literally melts in my mouth! I've loved it so much that I ate 3 of these!

ZY totally enjoyed the sushi and the desserts ^_^
The birthday boy and his 2 lovely girls!
And a kiss from the pretty one ^_^

Din Yang @ 3mths old

My three months old baby ^_^

Doesn't he looks more and more like his daddy..oh no! Hehehe!

For the record, DY is now weighing 6 kg and about 62cm tall.

I'm still breastfeeding him totally via direct latching with only once a day bottle feeding of expressed breast milk. This is to ensure that my mum can feed him if I'm not around and I don't have to rush back home just to feed him like what I did when ZY was young.

A Fun Day @ Daddy's Office

We went to MW's office today as his company is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary Birthday Bash. We reached there at about 10a.m. when the party has just started so there was still relatively little crowd. ZY had a fun time doing a lot of things for the first time today, for examples,

~ First time trying out  "Emiko Arts"

~ First time tasting cotton candy (which by the way she doesn't like)
~ first time having a tattoo

~ and first time playing "fishing game"

She also managed to get a flower balloon from this cute uncle though her initial request was to have a butterfly balloon which the uncle didn't know how to make.

Last but not least, an instant family photo with the 50th Anniversary logo on it as a souvenir. ^_^

A Friend's Wedding

MW and I attended our secondary school friend's Meihoa wedding a couple of weeks ago at Meritus Mandarin Singapore. We have known each other since Sec One and has keep in contact ever since. In fact, most of us in this photo were in the same class for all the four wonderful years in our secondary school, Tuan Mong High. The three ladies sitting in front were our school teachers and I'm surprised that they did not age at all! ^_^

I've added in lots of his favourite assortment of mushrooms and so he is an extremely happy man ^_^

Bon Appétit!
Have many more fruitful and happy years ahead!!

Class of '91

Saw this post from Joyce's blog and it really brings back many memories for me as MW and I have also known each other for a long time. We were classmate for 4 years in our secondary school at Tuan Mong High though we only started dating almost 10 years later! Most of our photos were still in my mum's place and I only managed to find this class photo in one of MW's album. We all looked so young then, MW definitely looks better then with more hair, oops *_* ,while I think I look better now. ^_^

From This Day Forward...

Yesterday was our 5th wedding anniversary aka Wooden Wedding. However MW had to attend his company function and so we had a post wedding anniversary celebration today :)

I suggested that we revisit the National Museum of Singapore as we had not been there since they reopened after the major renovation. The last time we've been there was during our "Par Tor" time and we even joined the night tour organised by the museum and had the rare opportunity to climb the infamous spiral staircase to the rooftop.

It's great to be back here, walking and appreciating the exhibits/artifacts leisurely without having to entertain ZY. Hee hee, yup, we left ZY under my mum's care and spent some couple time together today :D We reached the museum about 3p.m. and spend the whole afternoon there, after which we had cheesecake and sandwich at the Novus Cafe situated inside the museum.

After spending a highly enriching afternoon at the museum, we ended the day by having our dinner at Sushi Teh in Raffles City. This is one of our favourite restaurant as they served super delicious sushi and hand roll :P

BTW, for the record, MW bought me a LongChamp Tote bag that I've been eyeing for sometime for our wedding anniversary :D

Thanks dear! *muack*

It's Playdough Time 2

After the post about my 'creations' using play dough and the 'raving' reviews, MW not wanting to be deem the "uncreative" parent, tried his hand on the play dough again. This time, with much greater success that both ZY & me had to raise up our hands and admit defeat (ahem..only for the time being..we will be back, we promise, hehehe)

MW's "masterpiece" :)

A Busy Day (Part Two) - Orchard Road

MW finally decided that he wanted a PSP as his belated birthday present and so after the Sesame Street Show, we went to Orchard. However, Takashimaya is having Card Member Sale today, so we detoured to Taka to buy a Christmas present for ZY. I love to shop during the weekday as I hate crowded places. No bulldozer can drag me to Orchard Road during peak hour especially with ZY in towed!

Anyway, ZY really enjoyed her shopping trip as she found a toy pram and asked me to put a stuffed toy in it. See her in this pic happily pushing the pram around the shop!

By the time we had our dinner, and MW bought his PSP, it was already 7.30p.m. ZY having missed her nap, was extremely cranky by now, and kept making a fuss about the littlest thing. The poor girl finally fell asleep on MW shoulder while we waited for the MRT.
