For this June holiday, we went for a short 3D2N trip to Genting before all the kiddy rides were permanently closed for a major revamp.
As usual, the kids were super happy and excited. We stopped over at Yong Peng for breakfast before heading to Genting and we reached the highland at about 1.30pm.
It will be our last trip to Genting for these coming couple of years till the major overhaul and the outdoor theme park is completed. Till then...

Garden By the Bay
We joined the one day trip to Garden by the Bay organised by the Moulmein Kallang Town Council this Sunday. We paid $8 per person for return coach rides, admission ticket to Flower Dome and Cloud Forest, and also a $5 meal voucher.
We had a great time posing in front of the beautiful tulips which was in full bloom!
We were there quite early and managed to take many photos before the crowd set in.

Genting 2013
We decided to go on a last minute trip to Genting with the family. As usual, the kids were super excited throughout the 7 hours journey. ^_^
As the Outdoor Theme Park was permanently closed down for a major revamp, the kids were limited to take rides only in Indoor Theme Park. This roller coaster ride is the ONLY exciting ride for ZY and she took it for umpteen times (>50 times??)
Din Yang's driving skill has improved a lot!

Genting (Twice in a year!)
This was the second time we were in Genting this year as my parents were keen to go and my mother-in-law as usual, was ever ready to tag along. ^_^ There was a room promotion going on which allows members to use 3 genting points to book a room. We used my mother-in-law and MW points to redeem 4 rooms for all the 9 of us! What a deal!

Genting Highlands (7-9 March 2012)
We promised to take ZY to Genting Highlands after DY turns two as we were hoping that DY will be more manageable when he is older. However, as the day approaches, DY is still the same old active toddler =_=" But a promise is a promise, ZY persistent reminder and counting down to the day DY turns two, gave us no choice but to book a coach at the last hour.
ZY was so looking forward to the day that she felt slightly under the weather on the day before we set off due to over-excitement! Luckily, she recovered after resting and was active again on the second day of the trip.
DY on the other hand, was super excited but finally fell asleep for 2 hours during the journey.
First ride of the day and DY's first ride ever in Genting. See DY's happy face!
As it was a weekday, there was no need to queue at all, hence after each round, DY will immediately run to another car of his choice and waited patiently for it to move. ^_^
This was DY's second time on the carousel, the first being in Universal Studio, which I don't think he remembered much. He was a bit insecure at first and held on very tightly to MW's jacket but quickly learns to relax and enjoyed the ride.
It was raining very heavily on the first night and the temperature went down to 15 degree celcius, the lowest so far for me in Genting. The kids continued their rides after dinner till 10p.m. and fell asleep immediately after drinking their milk.
Early in the morning, rise and shine. The kids were eagerly anticipating for a day of fun rides both at the Outdoor and Indoor Theme Park.
All set and ready to go...
Waiting patiently for the ride to start at 10a.m. ...
till it started to drizzle and our plan to the Outdoor Theme Park was ruined! The wet fog continued even after our lunch so we decided to take some photographs instead.
The wind was strong and the fog was thick. See the entrance staffs wearing raincoats?
The sky was suddenly cleared about 2 plus after the kids nap so we headed to the Outdoor Theme Park.
Not to be easily beaten, we went indoor and continued to have a fun time!
Another first for DY - Junior Bumper Car!
ZY loves to step on the pedal and "drive" mummy around. ^_^
Last 10 minutes before the theme park closed, the sky was cleared again!!! What a joke!! We stayed around to take some last minute photographs before bidding goodbye to the park. It's a waste that ZY did not take any of the thrill rides (Flying Dragon, Top Spinner) as planned but its ok, WE WILL BE BACK! (Ah Mah still has some unused GP) ^_^
Maybe ZY thinks that our "figures" looks better than our "faces"???

As expected, DY loves these rides and we went around a few times before the nasty wet fog came again..this time he brought his equally nasty cousin - The Rain...
