Korean WinterLand 2015 - Day 5 (Alpensia)

Rise and shine. Today was the last day in Alpensia and we were taking the 4.30p.m bus back to Myeongdong. After a quick breakfast of sandwich, pasta and strawberry, we went out to the nearby park and children playground. It was a cloudy day and it started to drizzle the moment we were out.

We found some untouched fallen snow at the park which was so soft and fluffy and the kids had a blast playing snow fight and rolling around it.

We spent the whole morning in this little park which was so picturesque. It will look magnificent once it is totally covered with snow.

We had a late lunch as we were expecting to reach Seoul late in the evening about 7 plus. This restaurant served very good bibimbap!

 

We reached Myeongdong at about 7:30p.m. and we immediately went to 新村食堂 for our Korean BBQ dinner. It was the best BBQ restaurant we went to during this trip, the cut of the pork belly and shoulder butt was thick and the meat was juicy! The complimentary free flow seaweed soup is also very good too! The kids were initially not very keen on the food but towards the end of our meal, we found a big jar of shredded seaweed! Hallelujah!! Their eyes literally shone with stars and they quickly gobbled up their rice which was totally covered with seaweed! Till now, they still remembered "the restaurant that served free flow of shredded seaweed" ^_^

After a satisfying dinner, we strolled along Myeongdong, the shopping heaven of Seoul. We tried many street foods, including giant ice-cream,  sausages, egg bread... I also did some mini beauty haul for Laneige Sleeping Mask which I swore by its effect!
