Okto Birthday Surprise (Din Yang)

Din Yang`s 4th Birthday Bash

We celebrated DY birthday this year at Downtown East as per the birthday boy request.

We checked-in on 28 February and checked-out on 2 March.

Gong Gong and Po Po stayed with us for the first night.

We went to the nearby beach for a stroll in the morning as the Wild Wild Wet Park was not opened yet.

We went into the park at 10a.m. sharp! The kids were super excited but unfortunately the sun was super sunny too!

The kids came out of the park at around 2p.m. as the sun was too strong to play. They went back after DY's nap and played till almost 7p.m.!

We had BBQ at the chalet that night and invited our other family members to celebrate with us.

Din Yang Birthday Party @ School

We celebrated Din Yang's birthday at his kindergarten today.

 

I baked a fresh fruit sponge cake for Din Yang and upon his request, puts loads of blueberries and strawberries in the cake!

DY even suggested that I put some hair gel on his hair to make him handsome! ^_^

HApPy BiRthDay ZhIYu!!

Today is ZhiYu's 8th birthday. However, since it's a Monday, we only went to Swenson for celebration.

Wishing my girl, many happy years ahead.. May you be healthy and sweet forever..

An Adventure to Adventure Cove!!

To celebrate ZhiYu's 8th birthday tomorrow, we went to Adventure Cove at Zhiyu's request. We spent $83 for 2 Adults & 1 Child tickets after a 15% discount using NTUC Union Card. Din Yang admitted FOC since he is below 4 years old!

 

We reach the park at about 11 a.m and immediately changed into our swimming gears. There isn't a big crowd at this hour so all the queues were still manageable.

 

The longest queue being this Riptide Rocket Ride, taking MW about 30 mins to queue. According to Zhiyu' review, this is the most exciting ride of all.

They tried all the rides in the park and even took some rides several times.

The most memorable being this Rainbow Reef, where ZhiYu and MW tried snorkeling with 20,000 fishes!

 

 

We spent almost 7 hours in the water park! Overall, its a fun and great family bond for the family. ^_^

Year of the Horse 2014

This  year Lunar New Year comes early in January. As usual, the kids got dressed in their new clothes and went to Ah Gong & Ah Ma's house to 拜年. After which we went to the River Hong Bao Carnival in Marina area to soak in on the lights and festivities.

 

 

On the third day of CNY, we went to Auntie Liping and Uncle Kwang Zhi's house for lunch.

ZY celebrated CNY 2014 in her school today.

Sembawang Beach @Christmas Eve

It's time for our annual Christmas Pilgrimage to Sembawang Park on Christmas Day. This year, we went there on Christmas Eve too for a delicious Christmas dinner at Beaulieu House.
