We celebrated ZY's cousin ZhengYi 4th birthday at the NSRCC chalet today. The kids loved this place as there is a pool, beach and playground all in one.

A Short Getaway @NSRCC

ZY's cousin ZhengYi's 3rd birthday celebration was held at the NSRCC. It was a great 3D2N fun with the sand, sun and pool!

Both ZY and DY had a wonderful time exploring the nature and having their first time experience building sandcastle. We were blessed with great weather with cloudy sky for the whole 3 days ^_^

First Stop: The Pool!

DY in deep thoughts while relaxing on the float...( em.."what's for dinner?")

Overheard one family jokingly called DY as penguin as he does look like a penguin walking with the towel wrapped around him!

2nd Stop: The Indoor Play Area!

ZY driving the car while DY relaxes.. again..

3rd Stop: Let's the Party Begins!

4th Stop: The Beach!

This was the first time DY stood on the sandy beach and to my surprise, he enjoyed the experience very much and was not disturbed by the feeling of sand on his feet which most kids do. ^_^

Last Stop: The Outdoor Playground (thereafter, its home sweet home)

CNY @The Zoo

We went to the zoo on the 2nd day of CNY with ZY's cousin Zheng Yi and family. It was super crowded that day as expected and I bet we really scared the animal off!

The kids were given these rabbit masks at the entrance of the zoo and ZY really loves it! (U can see her wearing it in most of the photos taken)

ZY and cousin Zheng Yi.

This is DY's first visit to the Zoo but I guess he is still too young to enjoy it.

Posing infront of the colourful arrays of flowers specially put up for CNY.

As usual, it's near Mission Impossible to get all the people to look into the camera at the same time! I've tried and this is the end result! Hehehe...

No visit to the zoo is complete without posing infront of the iconic Ben & Jerry Ice-cream's cow.

Cousin Wayne's Full Month Celebration

The newest member of the Tai's family, Wayne Tai, celebrated his full month today.  He is 3 months younger than DY and looks just like his dad! His daddy brought him to my parents' house to pray to our ancester and I took some photos of the cousins together.

Thereafter, we went to their house at Hougang for the celebration. They booked the Karaoke Room at the RC centre and ZY had her maiden "stage" singing today!

Zoo-diac Trail

We happened to have some zoo tickets so we decided to visit the zoo today together with my mother-in-law & brother-in-law family.

By the time we reached there around 10.30a.m, the place was full of visitors. We have been to the zoo for a few times but its always during weekday as we do not like crowded places. I have expected the zoo to be crowded today as its the 2nd day of Lunar New Year, but I've never thought that it would be so crowded. Luckily its on open space hence its not crowded till we feel uncomfortable.

As this was the first time ZY's cousin ZhengYi visited the zoo, we as the regular zoo-goers, acted as the guide :)

There are many colourful flowers exhibits all around the zoo during the Lunar New Year period. So during this trip, instead of posing infront of the animals like we usually do, we posed mostly infront of the flowers, lol.

The flowers are all so beautiful that I can't resist to take some pictures of them :)

By the time we reached home about 3p.m. ZY was so tired that she slept for 2 hrs and would have continue to sleep if I did not wake her up at 5p.m. :D
