Korean WinterLand 2015 - Day 6 (Nami Island)

As planned, we set out to the beautiful island of Nami in Gapyeong via the ITX train today. It was super cold and windy today but we came well prepared! ^_^

Don't be fool by the glaring sun, it was super cold and windy..

DY took these two photos by himself using the selfie stick!

Had a free 30-minutes ride as a free Korean Tourism Board gift but I can tell you,
"IT'S SO DA*M TIRING MAN!!!!"  MW and I used up all our energy to move that thingy one small circle around the park (with many many stops in between) and finally reached the bike shop. The Korean guy just smile and said one word to us, "Himm!" (Tiring) Duh, You should have told us earlier!!

Like all our previous trip, we posted a postcard to ourselves but we have yet to receive it. Keeping my finger crossed it is not lost in the mail...

The Nami Children's Library which has a big collection of children books from all over the world in many different languages.

We stayed in Nami Island till about 6 p.m. and we reluctantly took the ferry back to the mainland and took the ITX train back to Yongsan. As I did not book any tickets in advance, we only managed to buy the standing tickets that was leaving in about 20 mins. The train was full of passengers sitting on the floor of the train. Luckily, the train was very clean hence the kids did not complain when we asked them to sit at the corner.

It was an hour journey back to Yongsan but the kids were not bored at all as they met a little cute Korean girl who is only 2 years old to play with. She is just so adorable and kept on looking for ZY and DY to play together. She alighted the train together with us at Yongsan and she even make little crying noise when we were about to say goodbye.

We ended the day with dinner at a foodcourt in iPark Mall at Yongsan and seaweed shopping at Emart. Just love their free lockers that were available outside Emart so we just dumped our backpacks and thick winter jackets in the locker before heading for our dinner. ^_^ Free like a bird!
