Today is ZY's maternal grandma (Po Po) 61st Birthday so the whole family went to Red Star Restaurant to have our lunch. We also came here last year to celebrate Po Po's 60th birthday but its for dinner. Heard that the Tim Sum at Red Star is good so we decided to come here again this year.
The place was almost full house when we reached there around 1 p.m. However, we managed to get a table without much waiting. Overall, the Tim Sum here is above average when you take into consideration the price. We spent $108 for 18 dishes. The most expensive being the suckling pig @$18. The skin is very crispy and the meat is juicy :P
ZY who had not fully recovered yet was a bit cranky and had no appetite. Luckily I bought 2 new puzzles for her so that we can at least eat in relative peace while she was occupied with the puzzles..hiaz
