MW managed to get hold of his company corporate card to Sentosa so we went there early today hoping to capture some beautiful photos with the flowers. And we managed to do so as you can see from the photos here :)
Out of all the photos that I've taken today, I only managed to take a handful of nice photos of ZY as she is now into purposely turning away from the camera when I wanted to take pics of her :( Hiaz... so many pretty flowers but no pretty model.
As we have been to the other attractions of Sentosa previously, so after we have seen all the flower exhibits, we eagerly headed back to Vivocity as it's getting hot. ZY who has a super memory asked me why we were not going to the Underwater World. She loves our previous trip where we went to the Underwater World, however, we decided not to go there this time as she was already a bit cranky by noon. I promised my little girl that we will definitely go back there when she is older.
Some of the beautiful flowers in Sentosa..
This is our first time visiting Sentosa during the Flower Festival and I think its a nice place to spend the morning with your family, enjoying the scenic view. However, for those thinking of visiting too next year, please remember to go there early like us as the queue at Vivocity was super long at the Sentosa Ticket Counter about 12.30p.m when we were back, and also avoid bringing pram as some of the paths are a bit too narrow.

Family Portrait
ZY is now officially her own blog faithful follower. She will tell me to turn on the computer so that she can see her blog, yes, in her own words, she will say, "Mummy, I want to see Zhi Yu's blog."
It was on one of this viewings that she saw her own portrait in the blog and suggested to me that we should also paint a portrait for daddy & mummy.
Works in Progress..
ZY being the loving daughter, painted more hair for her daddy :) and not forgetting mummy, painted my favourite diamond pendant :D
So here it is, Our Family Portrait..

Zoo-diac Trail
We happened to have some zoo tickets so we decided to visit the zoo today together with my mother-in-law & brother-in-law family.
By the time we reached there around 10.30a.m, the place was full of visitors. We have been to the zoo for a few times but its always during weekday as we do not like crowded places. I have expected the zoo to be crowded today as its the 2nd day of Lunar New Year, but I've never thought that it would be so crowded. Luckily its on open space hence its not crowded till we feel uncomfortable.
As this was the first time ZY's cousin ZhengYi visited the zoo, we as the regular zoo-goers, acted as the guide :)
There are many colourful flowers exhibits all around the zoo during the Lunar New Year period. So during this trip, instead of posing infront of the animals like we usually do, we posed mostly infront of the flowers, lol.
ZY wearing the elephant's & panda's hat and posing infront of the camera. We should have asked her to wear the doggy hat instead since ZY is borned in the Year of the Dog :)
The flowers are all so beautiful that I can't resist to take some pictures of them :)
By the time we reached home about 3p.m. ZY was so tired that she slept for 2 hrs and would have continue to sleep if I did not wake her up at 5p.m. :D

Pre-Lunar New Year Celebration @Tots House
ZY's school has a short Lunar New Year celebration today. The little ones are asked to wear their New Year clothes to school and also bring some snacks to share with their friends. ZY wore her last year reunion dinner traditional costume bought by her gugu. Hiaz...she can still fit in leh, where has all the food gone to? =_="
I requested from the teacher to join in the celebration so that I can "help" them, but hor my motive as you can guess is to take photos so that I can blog them lah, hahaha!
The little ones all enjoyed their snacks except my ZY who only ate the biscuits that I've brought for her. I've tried to cultivate a healthy eating habit for ZY such as eating fresh fruits, biscuits with low sodium and no fizzy drinks. Hence the teachers highlighted to me in previous occasion that ZY did not eat the "wang wang" biscuit that she gave her. I told her that the reason is maybe because she is not used to eating salty food. But please don't think I am depriving her ok, I do let her eat fries occasionally... but of course must be unsalted ones lah *wink*. (In fact, unsalted fries do taste better as it is Special Order and they always comes in piping hot and crispy :P)
ZY is holding a Lunar New Year Greeting Card done by her at playgroup.
Wishing All My Friends A Fruitful and Healthier New Year Ahead!!
