ZY brought this home today after playgroup. Yes, she "打包" her soiled uniform.
The first thought that came to my mind was that she had wet herself during school (which definitely surprised me as this had never happened before). However, her teacher told me that it was because ZY vomited while she cried this morning. ZY had been crying every morning when she is about to enter school for the past couple of weeks. This is really out of the ordinary as she had never cried in school ever since she started playgroup at the beginning of the year.
Every morning, ZY will wake up happily but when she realises that it's a weekday and she needs to attend playgroup, she will start to weep and keeps on telling me that she do not want to go to school. Even though both MW and I have been asking her for the reason behind her crying bout, we never actually got a clear answer. Sometimes, she might say that there is a "monster" in school, whereas sometimes she just said that she don't like school. I've talked to her teachers about this and they told me that they also noticed a slight changed in ZY's behaviour recently. She seems to be easily frightened and needed to be reassured frequently. However, once she settled down, she seems to be perfectly at ease and will always smiled happily at me when I fetched her. I'm really at my wit's end, I even brought ZY to the 四马路 temple to pray and brought back flowers for her to bathe in.
No matter how much I've reassured her that mummy loves her and that her teachers adored her, she will keep on telling me that she don't want to go to school. It really breaks my heart to hear her screaming her heart out when her teacher carries her and closes the door every morning. My only consolation is that her crying bout seems to be getting shorter and are less intense everyday. Hopefully, after the June holiday, ZY will be back to her usual self and continues to enjoy her time at playgroup.

did you find out whether she has been bullied or traumatised in sch? otherwise, it might just be a phase...
Could it be that she sits next to the door that might give her a fright if someone suddenly open it from outside?
Anyway, June holiday is a good break for both ZY and mommy... no more heart breaking hearing your gal cry ;)
Poor thing...
Sometimes, kids can share 'scary' stories about monsters.
Though they seem young, they understand such things.
Agree with Angie, maybe there is a big buuly whom Zhiyu associates as the 'monster'.
Let's hope with the long holidays, she'll forget about the 'monster' and happily enjoy her school days again when school starts.
YEah, really hopes that ZY will be ok after the long holiday break.. really don't know what happened..but she seems to forget abt the monster as she never mentioned 'it' anymore..
however she is so afraid of school that she will wake up in the middle of the night and keeps on saying that she don't want to go to school :(
The teacher suggests that I bring her to see a psychologist if it continues to see if ZY is emotionally traumatised :(
oh dear ZY...
Can she tell you what she behaved this way..usually must be something happen in school that the child reacts..
we give you lots of hugs and kissess...
