Summer Hong Kong 2015 (Day 1)

After a long and tedious planning, we are finally on our Scoot flight to Hong Kong on 3 June 2015. I've bought the air tickets on a promotion last year and got a deal of about SGD$120 per person inclusive taxes. It's a great deal but the flight hours is a nightmare!

Anyway, we were finally all set and ready to go!

We reached HK at about 6.am. and proceeded to take their Airport Bus to Hotel Benito at Tsim Sha Tsui. As it was still too early for checked in, we left our luggage at the concierge and went for our first meal in HK - Dim Sum at Tao Heung Restaurant (Mongkok).

Thereafter, we walked along the famous Ladies Street but most stalls are not opened for business yet. We also went to Sino Centre to buy Disneyland and Ngong Ping Cable car tickets. Managed to saved quite a bit on the  tickets.

We checked into the hotel at about 11 plus and took a much needed rest before heading out again for dinner in Mongkok.

Ladies Street, prices are all marked up. Mum bought a purse at HKD$30 (initially, stallholder asked for HKD$130!!!!)

The famous 肥 姐 stall which specialized in skewed pig intestine, octopus etc... Yummy!!

臭 豆 腐 , which is so so only. Prefer the Taiwan version with sweet and spicy condiments.

We ended the day earlier as we were all tired and we had a long day tomorrow. We were planning to go to Disneyland!!
