After three long and tiring weeks, ZY was finally discharged from KKH.
A BIG thanks to all my relatives and friends for keeping ZY in your prayers. Really appreciated it! ^_^
ZY is doing very well and thank god has an anormous appetite nowaday, hopefully, she will be able to regain her lost weight in no time. Her wounds are almost healed and I'm crossing my fingers that the scars will fade off soon too.
As promised to ZY, the whole family will be going to Genting after ZY has completed her oral antibiotics. (I've asked ZY what she wanted when we were waiting outside the operating theatre before her operation and my girl told me that she wanted to go to Genting).
My little warrior princess, you had fight a battle and come out of it a stronger person, mummy and daddy are so proud of you! Love you! May u be happy and healthy forever!

tt's great news!! she'll be bouncing up and down in no time!
Glad that ZY is all right now!
But, will the Genting cold weather be suitable to go now since she just recovered?
Stardust,
She will be going for a follow up consultation with the KKH specialist on 16 Sep, if the doctor is happy about her recovery, we will book the coach and hotel then.
Btw, u gg to bring your kids to a cruise this year right? I'm also thinking abt it...
Thank God she is fine now! She is on the road to recovery
Wow.. 3 weeks.. Glad that she is recovering well.
Brave Zhiyu and Supermum Shana!
You do deserve a holiday. But like what Stardust says, Genting may be a bit cold.. what about World resorts??
Hi Shana, I can't imagine what ZY went thru'... 3 weeks is really a long time, plus a surgery and IV drip... too tough for a little girl to bear... your heart must be hurting all the while... so sorry to learn about your ordeal only now... glad that she is being discharged. Yes, ZY is truly a little warrior princess~
My heart bleeds everytime ZY needs to change her IV tube site every 3-5 days. She will kept on crying, 妈妈我不要!My heart basically went through many cycles of roller coaster rides for the 3 weeks. Everytime ZY went for a X-ray scan, we will pray very hard, hoping desperately that the result will not be as bad as the last one. HAve to keep on reminding ourselves to think positively and have to be brave for ZY.
Luckily, I dont have to worry abt DY as he was very well taken care of by my mother. I'm also very grateful for the help of my brother who took over some of the nights stay at the hospital for us so that we can have the much needed rest at home.
Now that all these is behind us, I'm glad to say that ZY seems to have gotten over it better than us, the adults. She can even make jokes about herself while watching some of the videos taken at the hospital!
