After our breakfast, we took the free High Speed Rail shuttle bus to Taichung THSR station.
Yummy THSR's bento costing only TWD$120.
Upon checking into our studio apartment, Pighome, located near to the Taipei Train Station we proceeded to the National Palace Museum, 國立故宮博物院. No photos allowed of the artefacts so we took pictures with the nice architectural buildings.
The kids also visited the Childrens' Activity Section for some hands-on fun.
We had our dinner at 西門町, Mei Guan Yuan Restaurant which is opened more than 60 years ago.
After queuing for about 10 mins, we ordered these..

We took a taxi to 龍山寺 as we were tired by now. I wanted to visit this temple as I've heard that it's a very sacred place. Bought a charm for ZY for a smooth transition to Primary school next year!
Finally back to our apartment. We would be staying here for the next 3 nights at the price of TWD$2500 per night. Quite reasonable considering its location and they even provides washing machine and detergent for our use! ^_^
