We decided to withdraw ZY from her playgroup this term as she is still adverse to going to school and started to having nightmares again after I told her that her school is reopening soon after the June holidays. She even vomited all her breakfast on the first day and refused to put on her uniform, hiaz.. She was only willing to walk with me to her school after I've repeatedly ensured her that I'll be going into the classroom with her. However, due to H1N1, all parents are not allowed to accompany the kids into the classroom. ZY noticed what was happening and started to cling to me and was on the verge to cry. So, I've no choice but to bring ZY home without even stepping into the classroom (I don't want to break my promise to her as I've told her that I'll be following her into the classroom).
After discussing with the teacher-in-charge, Mrs Yap, she suggested that we withdraw ZY for the term and see if there is any improvement. Really don't know what to do as we failed to get anything from ZY regarding her reasons for suddenly refusing to attend school.
Anyway, I decided to make some cookies for the 2 lovely teachers and enlisted ZY to help making them.
