We were invited to Tracy's son, Aaron, two years old birthday yesterday.
This was the first time that ZY had step into Auntie Tracy's house but as expected, she was not shy at all and was able to entertain herself most of the time. ^_^ While presenting her gift to the birthday boy who had actually just woke up from his nap, ZY looked a bit "ke qi", but after mingling for a while, you would see her running around chasing after a ball as though she was playing in her own house!

After taking her dinner and having some play time, ZY started pestering me about eating the birthday cake. As you know, ZY is a bit obessed with birthday cake and the whole scene (singing the bday song, blowing the candles & cutting the cake) so she was really looking forward to the finale of the day...hiaz
Finally the long awaited moment had arrived and the birthday cake was presented. As expected, ZY chose this minute to become 'suddenly' shy and cling to her daddy. Ever since we had attended a birthday party last year, I've noticed that ZY will become suddenly very clingy when it is time to sing the birthday song. Even though I know that she has anticipated for that moment to arrive, she will refuse to sing the birthday song or clap her hands like the others. Somtimes I really wonder why...
When we asked ZY whether she wanted to cut the cake, she shyly nodded her head. The other kids also started queuing up for their turns to 'mutilate' the pretty cake too!
