Land, Sea & Air Affairs

When I saw the groupon deal at $39.90 for a ticket to the Singapore Flyer, the Hippo Cruise and the Open-Top Heritage Bus, I quickly bought two tickets as ZhiYu has always wish to go aboard the open-top bus and river cruise. I also bought a child ticket at $34.90 for ZhiYu while DinYang go onboard for free. ^_^

It was an excellent day as the sky was cloudy with occasional sun.

We totally enjoyed the 1hr bus journey and it's great to be a tourist for a day!

Next...The Hippo Cruise and Singapore Flyer!

Elves and The Shoemaker

I bought ZhiYu to the musical "Elves and The Shoemaker" by ITheatre at The Drama Centre in The National Library building. This is the second musical for ZhiYu as she had seen "The Gingerbread Man" about 2 years ago.

As usual, ZhiYu was very excited about it and I prepared her in advance by telling her the story so that she will know the storyline of the musical.

We attended the 2:30 p.m. show on the 28 October which is also the first performance.

After the show, we went to the nearby Hanis Restaurant for some tarts and cakes before heading back to my mum's place. Another great Mother n Daughter bonding time!

Concert 2011

ZhiYu was sick on the actual day of her school concert. But she was still very active and playful hence after some discussion with her teacher, we decided to let her join her class performance only (omiting the finale songs) and bring her home immediately after her performance.

She had done well and remembered most of her steps but I guess she was too excited and forgotten to smile ^_^

Although ZhiYu is among the tallest in her class, she was standing right in front of the stage while dancing!

Updates (long overdue!)

No excuses here. Just plain lazy to upload my photos from the iphone to the computer.

These are some of the updates for the past 3 months...

ZhiYu

She has her first tooth filling in July and will be going for regular checkup from now.

My happy girl with her "glove-balloon"

We also made some pizza during the June holiday and Zhiyu simply love the hand-on experience!

Zhiyu has also pick up the balloon sculpting skill from somewhere and is quite good at it. ^_^

Finally, ZhiYu's class photo this year after missing taking it due to hospitalisation last year.

Din Yang

19-month old is now getting more and more out of hand. He has learnt to demand things from us and wants things to be done his way and no other ways will satisfy him. I've started the "naughty corner" method and it has some how managed to control him but my "short-term memory" son will go back to his "curious" self very soon =_=

He is able to cal mummy, daddy, popo, jie jie, gugu, jiu jiu, sit, school, raisin, door, bread, dog, ball, bye,走 ...

He loves to eat fishball, pasta, vege crackers, and strawberry sorbet. I'm more relax now as compare to last time when ZY is small, I will allow DY to eat most of the food so long as he eats in moderation.

DY is now 11.3kg and about 84cm tall.
