Sunset Soiree

We went to a dinner function organised by Amex last Friday at Fairmont Hotel. We brought ZY along with us as this little girl appreciates good food like her daddy and mommy. ^_^

The food are excellent with succulent fresh oysters, Peking duck wraps, satays, chili crabs, not to mention specially concorted cocktails and sweet delicious desserts.

We had a really fun time sampling the dishes, while ZY loves to listen to the live band and entertainment!

Crafty Times

I brought ZY to WowART Studio yesterday for a holiday workshop. The children were taught to make a Name Plate for the 75mins workshop. There were a total of 8 participants with one teacher and an assistant. Ever since ZY has attended ballet class and I Can Read, she is now more relax in a new environment where parents are not allowed. She even asked me to sit outside and happily wave goodbye to me! ^_^

This is ZY's Name Plate. (No, we did not change her name. The two big and small circles beside the letter Z is clearly a butterfly =_=" )

Happy Birthday, DY!

Today, my boy, DY is officially a toddler!

My mum cooked mee sua, two eggs and a drumstick for the birthday boy. This is the first time DY tried eating an egg and he seems to love it!

Thereafter, we followed the Chinese traditional practice of putting a variety of items in front of DY for him to choose. DY chose a pen and then immediately grabbed the $50 note and passed it to my mum! So does it mean that my boy will be a scholar in the future and earns tons of money in which he will give them to his elders? Hmmmm... ^_^

He can walk pretty fast and steady now and will demand for things that he fancy. For example, he remembers getting a balloon from our last visit to Swenson restaurant so he kept on pointing at the balloons the minute we sat down in the same restaurant today! He kept on making noises and pointing at the balloons until one of the staff passed him one, in which he promptly kept quiet and looked satisfied.

We brought the two kids to the Little O'Zone at The Orchid Country Club for some fun after our lunch. They love the place and had great fun there.

ZY love this flying-fox glide and glided down many times.

While DY loves the slide and was not afraid to slide down this relatively high slide.

Love this photo with DY's legs trapped, Sooooo Cute! ^_^

A year had come and gone, my little bundle of joy is now an active toddler. DY had achieved much but there are many more milestones waiting for him.

Happy Birthday, my dear prince!
May you be Happy, Healthy & Always Curious! ^_^

(For the record, DY is now 9.9kg.)
ZY is 17.9kg
