I took these photos while DY was playing with his Po Po this morning. He was happily "cooing" away as if he was talking!

For the record, he is 4.3kg now and is more alert during the day. In fact, he is a very light sleeper and doesn't sleep much during the day.    -_-"

My Little Brother

This is my little brother, Din Yang.


He is only 5 weeks old..


He has hairs that stand up and they tickles me when I hug him..


He has big round eyes that doesn't seems to want to close and sleep..


He has small little hands and feet..so cute that I can't resist but squeeze them hard..


Sometimes, he likes to pout his mouth till it makes a cute 'O'  but will you believe me when I say this same little mouth can also makes irritating snorting sound that drives me nuts.. not to mention the loud cries it makes throughout the day..


But I love my little brother.. cos' he smells very nice and smiles at me alot! ^_^ 

Le Cafe - Moon Pies

I simply LOVE these moon pies! Yummy!

There are eight different flavours - original, sesame, yam, green tea, pandan, black & white sesame, red bean and coffee. My favorites are the original and yam ones. The flaky outer layers plus the not too sweet filings are so tempting that I ate 2 at a go! ^_^

Next on my list will be the other best seller of the shop, Beancurd Tarts!

My Compassionate Girl

ZY has always been a teary eye girl just like her daddy when he was young.

Whenever ZY sees someone crying on a TV show, she will ask me why is that person crying with watery eyes herself.

Yesterday, when I read the "Matchstick Girl" story book to ZY, she surprised me by crying out really loudly. When I asked her why was she crying, she told me that the little girl was very pitiful. I've to console her by telling her that it was just a story and hence not real. Moreover, the little girl in the story is now with her grandmother, who loved her very much.

This is the first time that ZY had cried not because of any physical pain or just throwing tantrum. She is now aware of the feelings of others and is able to feel their pain. I hope that ZY will grow up to be compassionate towards others and help those who are less fortunate than us.

DY's Full Month Celebration

We celebrated DY's full month today, inviting relatives and close friends to share in the joy.

The day started with Po Po bathing DY in pomelo leaves water to get rid of bad luck and bring in the good.

After which, the whole family went for a walk around the neighbourhood as it is customary to bring the baby out for a walk on his full month.

ZY is wearing the new Hush Puppies Polo T-shirt that DY "bought" for her Jie Jie. Notice that daddy is also wearing the same Hush Puppies T-shirt but in bigger size? ^_^

We catered buffet from YLS Catering as it served my favourite "Or Nee" and "Kong Bak Pau", which are super delicious!

Plus the homemade Chicken in Wine that my mum made, store bought Ang Ku Kueh and homemade red eggs to complete the spread!

DY was carried around by all the loving aunties and slept quite well in their arms. Lucky guy! ^_^

Full Month Cake & Red Eggs

I always love to receive full month cakes from my friends and relatives as I like the surprise of seeing what's inside the box. I feel that it is so much personalised to give cakes/pastries to friends instead of handling out cake vouchers. We had opted for the more convenient method of giving bangawan cake vouchers for ZY's full month but this time for DY's full month, I decided to order the "Twist de Petit" cake package from Sweetest Moments. It's so sweet and pretty and each cake box comes with a personalised baby name card!

We will be giving these cakes to MW colleagues as we will not be inviting them for the full month party tomorrow. Hopefully they will like it.

We also made some red eggs this evening for tomorrow guests. ZY is a very good helper and volunteer to help me dye some of them. ^_^
